I passed someone in the street the other day, and they mentioned something called Bulletproof Coffee. Now, as Louisa will tell you, I have occasionally been known to mishear what people are saying.
At first, I thought they said Bull**** Coffee, and do you know what, I was right after all!

I must confess, I’m a bit of a geek when it comes to coffee. I have been known to roast my own coffee beans, we have a rather fancy coffee machine, and having worked in Italy for a while, I’ve drunk a lot of coffee.
Now, getting back to Bull**** Coffee. I’ve just looked it up on the web, and at first I thought I’d gone to a spoof website….
“Brain Octane Oil balances ghrelin, grass fed butter, certified clean coffee beans, medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) derived from 100% pure coconut oil. It’s then triple-distilled through earthen clay, so there are no solvent residues.”
It’s just coffee, for crying out loud!
There’s nothing generally wrong with coffee – I can’t stand instant personally, but otherwise it’s fine. It has some benefits too (practical as well as health related) – getting up as early as we both do for work, it certainly keeps us going.
So, don’t fall for the bull**** – if you like coffee, then have some – just don’t drink too much (listen to your body – if it adversely affects your sleep, or gives you palpitations, it may be too much). #nomoreBS
